Hey all,

I've been recently been trying to get Bochs to run on the PSP, and then get Windows 3.1 to run (eventually).
But i tried to boot the DLXLinux Demo, but no go. I edited the config file, still no. I dont even get the Bochs BIOS. I start the game, i see the mem stck inicator glowning, black screen, returns to XMB. Any suggestions?

Also, my Firmware is 3.40 OE-A with homebrew running in 1.5 kernel.

PS. My 1st post here at DCEmu!

(could a mod move this to the correct forum please thanks)

get hold of Dosbox PSP. (caution: this is maybe the most interesting
but least user friendly of the PSP emus).
DCemu member Murdock has posted a useful guide including a section on win3.1.

That's hectic stuff.
Perhaps I should've suggested 'Murdock's recent dcemu posts' for the guide link.
I've done the search. here's the link.

Just wanted to ask, how's the speed etc. I saw a video of Windows 95 on the PSP via Youtube and it looked really slow, is it any better using Dosbox, and would it be moderately fast using 3.1?

Seems my earlier caution was quite apt.
thx Dark Heart - thats compulsive reading. It really livelied up an otherwise dull day, I skipped a lot of the
technical detail in pages 1-22 tho!
I've searched again. Theres a link to an earlier version of the guide here.
No win31 ,but it looks like the file's still there.
