Hey all,

I need some help how to downgrade my friends PSP.
These are his specs

A TA-082 Motherboard
System Software 2.6

And, his PSP can't read batteries. So, should i update to 2.8 and use the TIFF, or something else? I don't want to use the 2.71 because alot of people said it corrupted some keys, etc. and they can't use the USB, and Ad-Hoc etc. So what should i use? I'd use pandora, but his PSP can't read batteries(he dropped it and the pins and stuff)

Can't you upgrade to 3.0 and downgrade back down using Lumines or GTA? I believe that's what I did with someone else's PSP. O_o Check into it.

I could, but i don't want to have the hassle of finding GTA:LCS, but know someone that has it. I'll look into it.

Well, actually the 2.71 downgrader is quite good, you probably read some old threads from the time the downgrader wasn't that stable. But if you're still anxious you can just use the 2.80 downgrader (I've used this one on my own PSP and some friends' PSPs, so I can confirm that it's pretty good)

About the battery thing: Don't you think it's possible to repair the pins? Actually a Playstation PORTABLE isn't that portable any more when it must be plugged into a wall all the time...

Oh, i forgot to mention, He can't update! I guess he's stuck until he fixes the pins.
