I was downgrading my psp from 2.71, using [Downgrade from 2.71 to 1.50] from http://forums.**********.net/showthread.php?t=43396

I also checked another website and it showed the same method. Well I did everything right, and I got up to the red screen, so far so good. And after that red screen, my psp will not turn back on.

I'm pretty sure it isn't bricked, because there is NO LIGHT, whatsoever. Nothing turns on, no backlight nor the little power light.

It doesn't turn on when plugged in to the adaptor [I only have the USB adaptor].

Any info on this?

try plugging the ac adapter in without the battery inserted to see i your power light will come. Yep it does sound bricked but usually you get the power light on and nothing else cos bricking only corrupts the nand nothing else, pandora will fix it but you need to get it switching on, oh and try a different battery too.

And what red screen, sounds a bit strange.
