Directed Electronics will be releasing a combination docking station that will blend the Sirius Sportster, the Apple iPod, and other various electronic devices resulting in a medley of electronic masterpieces. Dubbed the ‘Executive Docking Station,’ the unit will include interchangeable docking cradles (initially for the Sirius Sportster, but will support the iPod and other digital music players.) With 20–watt amp powered speakers and a fold-able ability for transportation, this is sure to be a winner.
The Sirius Sportster version will be available this September and iPod cradles following foot by the end of this year. The price on the unit will be $200US and each additional cradle will go for around $70–80US.
