Breakout viral hit Flappy Birds may one day make a return to smartphone app stores, says its creator Dong Nguyen.
Flappy Birds shot to fame earlier this year when the game inexplicably went viral, topping iOS and Android app stores with millions of downloads before Nguyen pulled the game (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/448812/flappy-bird-removed-from-app-stores/) down, explaining (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/449115/flappy-bird-creator-reveals-why-he-pulled-the-game/) that it "ruins my simple life", and that the game had become too addictive for its players.

"I'm considering it," he said when asked if Flappy Birds may come back.
While Nguyen said he's not currently working on a new version of the game, he did reveal that, should a follow-up materialize, it will come with a "warning" for players similar to that of many modern Nintendo games: "Please take a break."
Elsewhere in the interview, Nguyen revealed he's working on three new games, an unnamed 'cowboy-themed shooter', a 'vertical flying game called Kitty Jetpack' and an "action chess game" called Checkonaut. One, he said, will be released this month.
