Sapphire is reportedly planning to release two limited edition versions of the AMD Radeon R9 290X graphics card, featuring 8GB of memory.
The graphics card vendor already has a range of 'Toxic' and 'VaporX' iterations of other AMD R9 models, but the special editions of AMD’s most powerful card would double the current VRAM memory of the 290X.
Eric Joel posted images of a blue-accented card on KitGuru (http://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-cards/eric-joel/sapphire-r9-290x-vaporx-8gb-cebit/), stating that the card will be a ‘VaporX’ edition.
Another 'Toxic' version of the 8GB 290X, without VaporX, is also set for a reveal, he added (http://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-cards/eric-joel/sapphire-r9-290x-toxic-edition-8gb-cebit/).
Prices and release dates for either card are yet to be revealed.
