News/release from Freeplay:

Sony didn't want us going back to firmware 3.60, I guess... so I made my own installer. Using an encrypted, un-sigchecked dump of firmware 3.60, the 3.60 IPL, and a few modules from the 3.52 updater, you can now install 3.60 again on slim PSPs.

The readme is intentionally hard to understand (written for experts) because of the risks posed in flashing your entire firmware this way. There are no safety checks in place or anything.

On the plus side, it will only run from a Pandora memory stick setup, so if you do manage to mess things up and brick your PSP, you can always get things back to normal

Good job Freeplay, I don't have a psp slim but I'm sure someone else could find this useful.

And your a great example.

There is no 3.60 eboot, so no psar dumper will help you. Only someone with a stock PSP at 360 that then updated to to 360 M33 could provide us with a flash dump. Hence this release isn't that useful until we make a flash dump and make it readily available, through perhaps the psp-hacks.com flash dump section.
Anywho, I found a dump using a friends PSP, and it works like a charm, there are no checks like freeplay said, but if you know what you're doing its easy as pie

Trust me when I say I know my way around a PSP beter then you do.

If you have a dump, why not share it with the rest of us... we can't find a dump anywhere and you are bragging about having one... nice way to rub it in.
