Several Sony studios in the UK have been hit by layoffs. VideoGamer (http://www.videogamer.com/ps4/driveclub/news/evolution_studios_guerrilla_cambridge_and_sce_lond on_studio_hit_by_layoffs.html) reports Evolution Studios, Guerrilla Cambridge (Killzone Mercenary) and SCE London Studio (Wonderbook, Playroom) were all affected in the "focused restructure."

The one studio on that list with an announced project in development is Evolution and its oft- (http://www.joystiq.com/2014/03/10/you-do-not-talk-about-driveclubs-release-date-yet/)delayed (http://www.joystiq.com/2013/10/18/ps4-launch-title-driveclub-delayed-to-early-2014/) Driveclub (http://www.joystiq.com/game/driveclub). In a follow-up, Sony said development of Driveclub would not be affected (http://www.videogamer.com/ps4/driveclub/news/driveclub_development_not_affected_by_evolution_la yoffs_2.html) by the layoffs. Don't let your mind wander into the paradox of an already delayed game not being affected by layoffs.
