weird findings while hacking

well, i was screwing around with frhed and found something strange in the 1.50 pbp file. near the beginning of the file, i found this:

tEXtSoftware.Adobe.ImageReady

does the psp support imageready?

le sigh.. is their such a thing as a hex editor that supports japanese characters or a table file that at least me some idea of which characters they are?

not what im looking for.. Im looking for an easy way to find japanese text. in every hex editor I have tried the japanese fonts look like garbled ascii.
