How well does this emu work? I would like to play final fantasy xii with it but do not want to waste the time configuring this emu and making an iso of the game just yet, just in case it wont work the whole way through. I have a very nice comp, but is it enough for a ps2 emu? I have a

Duocore 3.2 ghz
2 gb kingston ram
1024 mb video
250 mb hd

Well you will get playable speed, but I just checked the compatibility list and I noticed the european and american versions have "ingame" status, so it's probably it will freeze/crash in a random place.
The only version which is fully playable is the japanese version.

Yeah I need to try this new version. It's been about a year since I've used pcsx2. I have a new computer now: Vista Ultimate 64-bit, 4gb ddr2 ram, 512m 8800gt, Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0ghz with 1333 fsb. So this should run fairly well now compared to my old Windows XP machine with only 512 megs of ram, and only a 3.2ghz pentium 4 and a 6600gt. At least the 2d games should run near full speed I hope. I don't have high hopes for Grandia 3 or FF12 though.
