Windows Phone fans on Sprint don't have to worry about when they'll get the 8.1 update (http://www.engadget.com/2014/04/02/windows-phone-8-1-official/) on their devices. The carrier tells Engadget that both the HTC 8XT (http://www.engadget.com/2013/08/27/htc-8xt-for-sprint-review/) and Samsung's ATIV S Neo (http://www.engadget.com/2013/08/14/samsung-ativ-s-neo/) are getting 8.1 sometime this summer; more details should come closer to the rollout. That's later than when we'll see the OS preloaded onbrand new (http://www.engadget.com/2014/04/02/nokia-lumia-930/) devices (http://www.engadget.com/2014/04/02/nokia-lumia-630-635/), but it's good news for those who are still happy with both Microsoft's mobile platform and Big Yellow's network.
