Sony seems to be considering the introduction of an Xbox-like reputation system on PlayStation.
That’s according to a survey sent out to users, as reported by VGX (http://vgxnetwork.com/2014/03/playstation-survey-hints-at-reputation-system-and-other-possible-features/), which asks about the appeal of a range of possible future features.
Included on the list is a “player reputation system based on user ratings”, the “ability to chat across PlayStation platforms”, the “ability to change your PlayStation username” and the “ability to chat with more than eight people at a time”, amongst other things.
Microsoft has recently rolled out a reputation system on Xbox One (http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/naughty-xbox-live-users-to-be-punished-with-twitch-cut-off-and-reduced-matchmaking/0130218) that tracks users over time and penalises those who consistently offend or annoy others.
