Smash Bros 44-character list leaked?

A supposedly leaked screenshot of the Super Smash Bros. Brawl character select screen reveals that the full has got an massive 44 playable fighters.

So far only 25 of those have been confirmed on the game's official site, but if this screenshot turns out to be genuine, Nintendo has been keeping a fair bit secret, even when we thought it'd all been revealed.

The screen (pictured below) shows characters like Baby Bowser, King K. Rool (DK Country), Krystal (Star Fox Adventure), Ganondorf and more as fully playable characters.

Take a look for yourself and get all excited. March 9 is the US date. Europe can't be that far behind (it had better not be).

this has actualy been going about for a while its suposadly fake but you cant be certain till launch. It has probly came back round again since some people in japan claim to have recieved the game a week or so early.

Its fake! Nintendo announced ages ago that Mr. Game and Watch wouldnt be in Brawl.

Krystal won't be in it... No one liked Star Fox Adventures enough for them to add her. So many other characters would be more viable.

Little Mac from Punch Out was confirmed, but I don't see him there... Same goes for that Samurai Goroh guy from F-Zero.

More characters are like this, like Ashley and Lucario.
I'm not saying none of these characters can't possibly be in the game, but this image is definitely fake.

Ness and Game and watch were pulled. And I doubt they'd put the Hulk(?) in there....

I'm relieved that its fake. Knowing all the characters ruins the surprise.

From the real pictures, we can figure that ALL of the roster pics of the characters would be 3D, however, there are 2D pics in there.

It's fake because the pics are either taken from other games or they're 2D or both. If the characters were really in Brawl, new pictures would be created for each of them and they'd be in 3D.
