SofiyaCat released an updated version of the video-streaming application known as PSPTube.

Changelog:

- Works on PSP-1000 (20080129) now. However, no video out.
- Shh also fall and more of adults only, please use at your own risk.
- D (20080129) Less terminal interface components and the corresponding output.

Well, I've said before that I think that the releases are a little too often. But hey, you don't have to install every update!

If you're using a Phat PSP, then yes. the '28' version didn't even run for me. Just crashed on the 'title' screen.

But then, what advantages do you get as a phat user? I thought the only developments recently have been to do with Video-Out, which is obviously useless for phat PSPs.

wanted to know what the url entry is for? can i enter a url for a video thats kinda like youtube, will it work or something?

I think the url entry is for directly going to a video on youtube.

And I think this update is solely to make PSPTube "universal" so that it runs on both phat and slim again. So I guess if you had the version before the last, it makes no difference?

If anyone has a change log of whats been updated ill be happy to add it in the original post. I'm thinking of updating. the /14 version has been good to me. If theres been an update in the video buffering. Then i might consider updating.

I could be wrong, but I think that got translated in the past as basically those who aren't afraid to mess around with their PSPs.

I'm watching videos I've seen plenty of times on the PC just because it looks just as sweet on a PSP screen lol.

I haven't tried this one yet - the previous version has a bug that the program would crash if you perform a search using a string with spaces in the middle. Has it got fixed yet?

i remember the older version had audio/video sync problems, this one however does not, works great :D

Hey, there is more to this version then you guys think. I was messing around with this thing last night when I was bored, and was using the cool feature that lets me look into the folders and files on the memory stick. While I was looking around in my MUSIC folder, and viewing some of the stored files there, I tried the play one of the .mp3s and it play with no problem. I tried this with other formats like .mp4 video and audio, .mpg, and .wmv but the .wmv had some problems. I'm going to see what others can be played on it.

whenever i select a video to watch, it freezes and restarts my system
