No, it lets you edit games of Go (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Go_(board_game)), so you can basically save your progress if you're mid-game, and both want to come back to it at a later time.. (or, alternatively, to replay your games, and all sorts of other stuff.)

Think of it as being a lot like a Chess Game Editor..

If there were an AI player, this would be one heck of a great game. Unfortunately, AI Go players haven't really been up to much, and I imagine it'd be a complete git to try an get working even half-decent..
As it is, it does it's job, and that's great!
