Super Mario Kart without a doubt, a unique creation that's still copied to this day on modern systems, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars sadly didn't make it to the masses, Mario Paint was a novelty, shame all the others had to offer was an overweight plumber bouncing around along with his sidekicks.

Super Mario RPG is the best Super Mario game for SNES hands down, and is also the first true RPG I've ever played (not counting Zelda II).

Super Mario World of course. Yoshis island is a close second everything else is not even close. Mario is Missing is probably one of the worst games I've ever played.:P

I voted for All Stars because in my opinion, none are more memorable than the 1st and 3rd games for NES. To have those with updated graphics and sound was simply unbeatable, not to mention all the gameplay was faithfully replicated. Also, there was some All Stars carts that had Super Mario World included in the compilation, which was the icing on the cake. I think those were special edition pack-in's or something...not sure.

Uh, no, they actually made Super Mario Allstars + Super Mario World for the SNES. I had the original cartridge of that game.

I chose Super Mario World, because Allstars was composed of NES games with supped up graphics and music, which kinda sucked. They even updated World by making messing up Luigi and making loook retarded.
I never really got into Super Mario RPG, but I guess I'll just play some of it now :o

I'm gonna have to go with Super Mario RPG. I love that game I wish I could find it in ROM format.
