How can I make a link look like a link to another website? For example make a link to www.dcemu.co.uk look like a link to www.youtube.com.

www.dcemu.co.uk (www.youtube.com)

url=www.youtube.com]www.dcemu.co.uk[/url

Just put [ at the start and ] of the one above and it will work.

Will that work anywhere (such as facebook) or is that only on message boards?

Forums...

For MySpace... use this code:

<a href=http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vaG9tZWJyZXdoZWF2ZW4ubmV0 target=”_blank”>INSERT THE FAKE URL HERE</a>

I'm not sure if it will work with Facebook, but it should, if not, just change the "http://www.msplinks..." thingy.

Does anyone know of a website with a simple gui that will create hyperlinks?

Do you mean redirecting, as in you click a link to http://hidebehind.com/B109DE and the browser goes to that site, then redirects to another (to avoid a block on linking to certain sites or something), or just making the text of the link look different from the address it is linking to (i don't know what the point of that would be, you'll see the real link on the info bar at the bottom of your browser).

The first way you need a site that will re-direct you and isnt blocked, like hidebehind.com (http://hidebehind.com/free-url-redirect.php).
That way you can give a hidebehind.com url that then forwards on to whatever other url you want.

If you just want to make the text of the link look different (nothing out of the ordinary as most links are embedded in text that isnt the url), then for vbulletin its:
whatever text you want (http://www.URLofwherethelinkactuallygoes.com)
In html its:
<a href=http://www.URLofwherethelinkactuallygoes.com>whatever text you want</a>.

Just changing the text of the link inst redirecting, and it will still show the proper url on the info bar down the bottom of your browser when you mouse over it so it would only be useful for tricking a complete moron into clicking a link to something other than they expect.

You don't need a gui to create (hyper)links. You just follow DarthPaul's of my example and modify the URL and the text that is shown for the link.

He trys to talk shit at school but I told him I'd beat his ass after school if he wanted to fight so now he doesn't say anything at all. It would probably actually be better if you guys could just tll me some misleading disgusting links to send him. lawl.
