They don't show a pic of it open. Just for that I won't purchase it.

They are usually low-powered magnets. I have a DS case with magnet closure (not one of these mind you), i've seen no problems on the screens, with my flash cart, or any official game. It should be just fine.

that only happens to cathode ray tube screens. i doudbt you'd find that sort of screen on the ds
