put the .nds file in the ROOT of your card (ROOT = not in a map...). then you start the server (win2ds.exe) on your computer. you need to have a wireless router to do this, but i bet you have some neighbour you can leach from...so, have fun.

wow this program is awesome! i'm having trouble with setting up the custom keys though. i want to set up the dpad on the ds to be keyboard ks, and make the L button to be left click. this would be awesome for playing fps. also, how do u change the zoom?

this would be even better if it supported sound

It would be near impossible to support sound. As it is right now, the DS client downloads a .jpeg screenshot of the screen from the server. Then whenever you move the mouse or anything, it sends the information to the server, and the program moves the mouse. The DS's wireless capabilities aren't fast enough to stream audio without having it to buffer every 15 seconds.

I'm amazed at how good this is. I've found it extremely useful for keeping an eye on downloads while away from my PC.

I tried an old version last year, couldn't really get it to work, and assumed it was a bit optimistic to expect this sort of app to run on the DS. This release works a treat though, and was really easy to set up.

Very good work, Monkeynz. Thanks!

Does anyone know if this can support emulation on the computer? As in, getting the DS as a controller.

I can't really get it to work as a wireless controller.

Look at dates next time.
Unnecessary necromancing of an old topic for a dead project.
The computer won't recognize it, but it can be used to emulate keys on the keyboard all the same.. Although I never could get it to recognize any of the face keys (letters/numbers)

Well, this is the latest version, so I don't see a problem, unless there is a better version of this, or another program that does it better.

Witeds you have to realize that this a program that streams from a pc, unlike the genesis emu which you run on the ds alone. Like the other guy said, it can do sound, but it would never work smoothly at all becuase of the proccesing speed. It already enough you can only get a framerate of 3 fps a second if your lucky on this. This program will never have sound at all, and author Never going to even try (or waste his time) to put sound. You want sound you already got your pc and speakers.

Holy crap! That works fantastic! Im hoping there is an option to set the zoomed screen to be 50% instead of just straight 100%, but its cool from what ive seen so far.

Great work !
