i can't wait to dig behind my home entertainment center to change that tiny switch every time i use a different device... that thing wouldn't work in my house.

the four-way switch i use now is just a switch box and not an octopus, therefore the cords of all of my devices leave me with plenty of room to place the switch in a convenient location. i couldn't imagine justifying the cost savings of this new device (if i didn't already have all the dedicated cables) with the hassle it would entail. i suppose horizontally oriented consoles may allow for this cable? the length from the switch just doesn't seem adequate.
