Bungie will launch a beta version of its cooperative first-person shooter Destiny (http://www.joystiq.com/game/destiny)in July, publisher Activision announced today during its first-quarter earnings call.
The beta arrives ahead of the game's planned multiplatform debut on September 9. As previously announced (http://www.joystiq.com/2013/11/14/destiny-beta-launches-first-on-ps3-ps4/), players who pre-order the PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 versions of Destiny will get the first crack at its upcoming beta.
