Time Baby V12f - MP3 Player

Hi Guys,
Here's another Time Baby program release that brngs a more updated mp3 player.
Time Baby is an unofficial program for the Sony PSP 1000 only.
Now I consider this a better interface implementation than iRshell itself.
Not sure how I want to handle the file highlighting yet, but you can see the start of it.

This is still not the last planned update, but here's what's new:

V12d (01/03/08):
- MP3 Player volume control implemented for headphone remote control.
- PSP is now clocked at 280/280/140 MHz if the mp3 player is used.
- Increased mp3 playlist capacity to 50 possible tracks.
- MP3 file browser wrap around feature implemented.
- Much better scrolling control in mp3 file browser.
- Implemented playlist selection highlighting.
- Changed intro music back to the previous versions.
- Various other enhancements.

V12f - increased size of mp3 playlist file path buffers to fix overflow problem.

Thanks to Ahman for his PSP implementation of the GNU mp3 player.
For all of Time Baby V12 releases, I have handled the playlist myself.

Hey Art, Do you still need the 32mb card? I have one laying around and if you want it I'll gladly send it to you. I've never really used it. It came with my psp. But yeah, you can have it if you need it.

Time Baby V12d - MP3 Player

Boooo....
Why is this for Phat PSP only ??
It doesn't seem to depend on the IR port or anything...
So there is no reason it should be.

It usually takes just a few seconds, (and a few lines in the makefile) to make something 3XX compatible...

I don't speak for God, but he doesn't put it on the front page either, I post it for ppl who want it,
the the release thread doesn't open itself on your PC.
FYI, I often spend complete days on this program, where releases are one day apart.
If you're going to use HB, respect what it takes to produce it please.

So this release is using the mp3 player that's in IRSHELL
Yes, but I handle the playlist completely myself.
I only use play, stop, volup&down, pause & resume commands.

Why is this for Phat PSP only
For a lot of reasons now. Source is released for a previous version.
Compile that one working for 3.XX, and I'll give you the current source the same day.

Link me to the sc :p

EDIT: Not knocking you ART. If there are tech reasons that this is not 3XX compatible, than I will take your word for it :)

This app looks cool... Wanted to try it :D

It would be in QJ file section "Time Baby Source"
If you can't find it today, I'll link you to it tomorrow.
It is also posted in a release thread around V5c.
(out for the rest of the day in a few hrs).
serial would have to be in a seperate prx, and the iRshell
mp3 player is 1.50 kernel mode too.
That is not all, just all I can think of now.

There is a small update to this on the way to reduce the fastest scrolling
speed in the mp3 browser. I think slower Memory Sticks are causing crash
when the fastest speed is reached (holding down UP or DOWN button).
If your PSP doesn't crash, there's no need to DL the update.

Just one question:

Why do you want MS 32Mb ?

A lot of ppl have asked that, it's for keeping source and
executable backups of various restore points on each
stick, and being able to go back to them to trace bugs.
I used to fleece for cash donations, but thought this a bit better,
since there was a time I couldn't have given a crap about a 32Mb Stick.
