What does that have to do with PSP Tube??? And PSXP isn't that an old PSX emulator that stopped in progress a long time ago because it was just small modified code from Pacmanfan

Lol, no. PssxP is one of Buddy's projects. A SSX game.

Arnookie's release info (via qj):

Besides the rearrangement of the digits in the version release, Arnookie's PSPTube010308 Arnookies Modified 4 basically adds eight working search sites to the application:

* Onsen
* AmebaVision
* Dailymotion (new)
* SixRooms (new)
* YouTube
* RedTube
o (Will stick when flicking through Sites so please press button twice fast to skip if you have problems. It is also slow and you can only search Four digit numbers for now) If it does stick just wait and it will work. If you find it too problematic remove it from sites folder.
* GoogleVideo
* Veoh

Arnookie instructs to unzip the download first and then installing it in the game371 folder of your unit. Please make sure you know what you're doing before using the application, as PSPTube is still in its evaluation stages.

For more information, users are also directed to the release of PSPTube 20080301, where some people have already reported trying out Arnookie's program in the comments area.

Where theres problems currently with redtube freezing if anybody wants a version with 'redtube' js removed then grab that here: http://www.mediafire.com/?xsvuyxwv1y1

Im curious was redtube added by an external source or did Sofiyacat add it herself?

DarthPaul
March 2nd, 2008, 21:13
^ External source. The guy that did that CFW that launches Puyo Puyo some time back, known as FreePlay, made the script.

I'm kinda tryign to figure out where to install this app at. I don't have a game371 folder, I tried just putting it in my GAME folder but the PSP failed to load it. I also tried making a folder named game371 but it didn't show up anywhere. Can anyone help me out?

umm.. do u have custom firmware 3.71 m33 or higher?

What do these new versions add? I'm tired of downloading a new version that may or may not work or improve anything when the old version works fine... Not to be underappreciative of hard work, but there's no need to make so many releases in succession that aren't hotfixes or don't add anything big. It's really confusing and usually annoying when I download a new version and it's all broken or confusing and I didn't have any problems with the old version.
Though I could just NOT download this new version and forget the whole thing...

why cant u save any videos from any of the sites?

Hi

I'm kind of having problems. I've searched up videos on YouTube and i can save the videos and then play them.

However when i simply "add video to playlist" and then "play playlist" my psp crashes..

I'm on custom firmware 3.80. What seems to be the issue?

I keep getting this java script error and can't even start the app.
I'm using the PSP-1000 with CFW 3.90 m33-2. Kernel is set to 3.90 and the app itself is in the GAMES folder… can anyone help?

I knew I should have left well enough alone when I had the 20080211 version working for the most part. So I tried to start up this one (which oddly isn't 20080301, but 20080229) and it's saying it can't find:

ms0:/PSP/Game/PSPTube/system/site

any ideas??

I also tried the arnookie version. searching didn't work at all, are we seriously only allowed to search for 4 digit numbers?? I don't know of any videos I would want to watch that are named a 4 digit number...

I like this app. a lot and I use it a lot too, but I have a quick question for the Developers. Is there a way you guys could make a PSPtube where you can download the videos in better quality because, they have made a way for you to view the videos at youtube in a better quality by adding &fmt=6 or &fmt=18 to the end of the URL.

Here's the difference between them.

fmt=18 has better video quality than fmt=6. both have the same resolution (480 x 360) but the difference is in the bitrate. 18 has a 512kbps bitrate whereas 6 has 900kbps. The advantages fmt=18 has over fmt=6 is that it is in mp4 format and in stereo (6 is in mono and it's still flv) and over 80% of videos in youtube are available in that format, which is mp4. and the basic videos at youtube are just (320X240) and in mono format flv.

When I launch this on CFW 3.71 M33-2, I followed the instructions for the anookie one (To put in game371 folder) and upon launching the game I get the same error as some people here "ERROR: ms0:/PSP/GAME371/PSP-Tube/system/site not found." Any ideas?

Try this (http://dl.qj.net/PSPTube++-PSP-Homebrew-Applications/pg/12/fid/17565/catid/140) instead. It's the newest, patched version.

zentao what's your fimware ? You must be in custom fimware to use homebrews.
And use ultimate psp tube instead of psptube ;)

This version is obsolete. At this time of posting, Go Tube 1.1 (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=282200) is probably the way forward.
