Or are you waiting on a certainblockbuster title (http://www.engadget.com/2014/05/02/call-of-duty-advanced-warfare/) before you make the move to the next gen? We don't blame you. However, the PS4's ancestor -- that slightly curved obelisk sitting under your TV, the one with half an inch of dust -- still has a few tricks in it. While we wait for Sony to perfect its streaming tech (http://www.engadget.com/2014/01/07/playstation-now-hands-on/), there's still no way to play PS3 titles on Console No. 4, unless it gets a fancy facelift (http://www.playstation.com/en-us/games/the-last-of-us-remastered-ps4?CID=semgotlourmannounce041014)... and you buy it again (http://www.engadget.com/2013/09/19/sony-playstation-4-upgrade-program-gets-detailed/). So, we turn back to our faithful PlayStation 3. Born in 2006, eight years is a pretty good (http://www.engadget.com/2009/09/09/segas-dreamcast-turns-10-inspires-us-to-find-that-vmu-and-fini/) term for a games console. But maybe you don't want your time with it to be over. We don't either, and have found a few ways to breathe new life into your gradually graying PS3.
