Nintendo of America has released Mario Kart 8 (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/nintendo-wii-u/racing-driving/13218/mario-kart-8/) commercials showing off the new Boomerang and Super Horn power-ups.
As noted in our recent Mario Kart 8 preview (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/456888/previews/hands-on-why-mario-kart-8-is-fast-becoming-the-most-exciting-nintendo-game-in-years/), the former serves as an interesting alternative to the green shell, offering players three chances to hit enemies.
Meanwhile, the Super Horn offers players the chance to destroy the infuriating Blue Shell, which now slides along the ground, taking out numerous enemies before rising into the air and slamming down on its first-placed target.
