With everyone eager to see what Sony might have in the pipeline for the PSN overhaul confirmed for April, every 14-year-old prankster with Photoshop skills in the land looks to be trying to fool the internet. Here's one of the first.

The image below, sent to Kotaku by an anonymous "developer, claims to be yet another first glimpse at the new store.

It all looks very slick, but as Kotaku points out, inaccuracies in minor branding details such as the spelling of "Little Big Planet" (which should be LittleBigPlanet) and "Playstation Store" (officially PLAYSTATION Store) surely exposes it as a fake?

SCEA's director of product development has already said on the record that the new PSN will be about simplification, "cutting down on the number of mouse clicks, making it easier to find stuff that you want to find... that's kind of an outgrowth of us having more content now, so we have to make sure that you can get at it easily."

It was a nice try, though.
