I know it sounds really stupid, but just hear me out. Oh, and I am going to say right away that I have no programming experience, and that this is only an idea I had, so I won't be surprised if someone on here can tell me that it's impossible, but I thought it was worth a try.
Several weeks ago, there was a guy who supposedly put an eboot in an update folder and tricked his PSP into thinking it was an upgrade for PSP 2.1. I had this weird idea that perhaps someone could put a 1.5 upgrade onto the PSP and trick it into thinking its a 2.1 upgrade, just like that other guy did.
Is this technically possible?
