A Blinkbox app has been released today on Xbox One in the UK.
Owned by Tesco, Blinkbox is an online video-on-demand rental and purchase service.

According to the company, an app is also in development for Google's Chromecast device. However, no plans were announced for a PS4 version.
"We've been on the Xbox 360 for a while," Blinkbox managing director Adrian Letts said in a statement, "and together with PlayStation we've seen games consoles overtake computers as popular devices for enjoying our service."
Unlike Netflix and Amazon Prime Instant Video, which both offer monthly subscriptions for unlimited streaming, Blinkbox charges for each movie or TV episode viewed.
Customers can either pay a smaller fee to rent a video, or pay more to own it in either SD or HD quality.
Because this structure means more money goes to the film studio, the service is able to secure more up-to-date films. 12 Years a Slave, The Wolf Of Wall Street and Inside Llewyn Davis were recently added to the film library, while new TV series include Hannibal, Girls and Game Of Thrones.
