Ive got a PSP in HK and Ive brought in back here to the uk and i tried to play the games the guy put on there but it said "The could not start (and a weird code here)but on his PSP he was playing on it fine and it was the exact same 1 so i formatted it and installed more games but it still didnt work.

Whats Wrong?

its the same memory card not same PSP

Can you check ... Settings > System Settings > System Information and tell me what you see next to System Software? All I can think is that you psp is flashed to 1.51 or above.

he showed you games working on a v1.0 or v1.50 psp and sold you a psp higher than that.
