Here is my entry to NEOFLASH Spring Compo:

NIKWI DELUXE PSP version 1.0
http://deniska.dcemu.co.uk/images/nikwi/1.jpg

You play as a 9 year old boy in a game about his absolute dream: a world made of candies!
Your role is to guide Nikwi through all the 30 levels, eat all the candies in each level
and avoid the monsters and the hazards that each level has. Nikwi has a talent on jumping
high - although his falls are not as good as he would like - and this is his only armor
against the monsters which try to turn his dream into a nightmare.

Hi!

Nice to see my little game being ported in platforms i never thought about :-). Anyway. I don't see the source code anywhere, can you please post it so that it will be available to others too?

Thank you.
Kostas

I'll post the code in a couple of days (once I fix a few minor things).
Let me know if you need it faster (I'll email you the current snapshot of the code)
If you don't mind , I'd like to bungle the PSP version of the game with some free soundtracks in tracker formats...and re-write the sfx code to use sdl_mixer. Do you have the game sounds in wave format (or perhaps you ca convert them to .wav?)

Well, technically, you are required by the license (GPL) to make the source available if you release a binary (although you can make it available by email, but the easiest is just to post it with the binary in the same place). However its up to the copyrights holder to enforce this, in this case me, and since you'll release the code i'm ok :-).

As of the modifications, you can do whatever you want, even if i had problem (although note that i don't have a problem) the GPL allows you to modify the code as you like as long as you state that its a modification and you provide the source code :-).

If you actually make those mods, i would like to see a video of the game playing and a page which i can link from my site :-).

EDIT: you can convert .ssfx files to .wav files using the soundfx tool i wrote (http://www.badsectoracula.com/projects/soundfx/) to make the sound effects in the first place.

Sad to se Youtube banning the video and other videos youve released.

I don't see anything saying that it's banned...
Plus all my other videos are still streaming..
So perhaps it's some technical problem on youtube's side.
