I'm a NO Nothing when it comes to writting assembly langauge, so I'm not sure about this. Maybe this is more a request rather then a question. I mean out of all the "All in one Media Players" out there, this one is pretty good. It's source code is avalable and it's smaller in size then XBOXMediaPlayer. I dont recall if if it needs anything like Direct X too run and I'm sure the source code includes all the video codecs. I doubt it uses Direct X, since it runs on apple machines.
The way I see it, PSP desperately needs a better Media Player that can be run using the KXploit. I'm tried of watching downloaded video in resolutions under the 480x272 display screen + the umd movies are wicked expensive. If you could play DIVX and XVID at standard res, well..... Why hasnt anyone done this yet?
