wipEout 2048 acts as a prequel of sorts to the long-running futuristic racing series, taking place four years before the setting of the 1995 PSone original.

The NGP's Uncharted finally has a name, and it's been revealed that the game is set before the events of the PlayStation 3's Drake's Fortune.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss is developed by Sony Bend, the Oregon-based studio that previously worked on the Syphon Filter series as well as the PSP's Resistance Retribution.

Gameloft's mobile MMO Order & Chaos Online has notched up revenue sales of just over £600,000 ($1,000,000) in the 20 days since its App Store debut.

With a retail price of £3.99 ($6.99) which also includes three months of subscription time, the figures suggest that around 140,000 MMO gamers are currently playing the heavily WOW-inspired title. Those numbers will no doubt be bolstered further with an upcoming Android release that will see players on both platforms battling together.

After more than a year of speculation developer CD Projekt has announced The Witcher 2 is coming to console. One of them to be specific; Xbox 360.

The news arrived via a press conference this evening where the developer promised that, while the 360 version can't quite go toe to toe with its PC big brother, it will be a "gorgeous" game.
