Sony's outlined a major Gran Turismo 5 update (1.10) that sees more than just a few tweaks and fixes come to the PS3 exclusive racer.

As well as gameplay enhancements, update 1.10 adds new features such as online event prizes, a simpler way to purchase parts and an improved opponent AI algorithm.
