Upcoming PC shooter Planetside 2 will adopt a free-to-play model following the long line of MMOs that did so earlier this year.
The FPS MMO sequel from Sony Online Entertainment will include free-to-play in some form, but concrete details have yet to be determined, reports VG247.

Electronic Arts has pulled the iPhone version of its social game FIFA Superstars from the App Store, after players experienced problems playing the connected game.
The game started life on Facebook, where it currently has just under 2.8 million monthly active users. In late August, a standalone iPhone version was launched on the App Store, but swiftly disappeared again.
