Robot Entertainment announced today that third-person tower defender Orcs Must Die! will be published by Microsoft Studios and available later this summer for PC and Xbox Live Arcade. The developer previously gave us a window of "late August or early September."

Orcs Must Die! will be playable this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con in the Xbox Lounge, located at the Hard Rock Hotel, and Robot Entertainment will have an OMD prequel comic book available at the show.

Australian independent game developer Brawsome has confirmed today that its puzzle adventure game MacGuffin's Curse, will be releasing on 27 October for PC, Mac (via Steam), iPad and iPhone.


MacGuffin's Curse will see players participating in top-down action puzzles alongside character-based story adventuring. Brawsome have previously been responsible for the successful and well-received 'Jolly Rover', and have been working on MacGuffin's Curse since early 2011.

Ubisoft has finally nailed down a concrete release date for the PS3 version of Child of Eden.

The game, which hit Xbox 360 in June, will arrive complete with PlayStation Move compatibility in the UK on September 23rd.

There’s also a concrete release date for the 3DS version of Michael Jackson: The Experience. That’s out this November.

Other new dates include WRC 2011 (October 7th) as well as a trio of new 3DS titles out this November – Puppy’s

Blizzard is testing a new Real ID Party feature in World of Warcraft.

It lets you invite Battle.net friends who use Real ID to your five-person WOW dungeon group - regardless of the realm/server they play on. You can all play together at the click of a button. But you must all belong to the same faction, either Horde or Alliance.

Real ID Party only works with five-person normal or Heroic dungeon groups. Friends on other servers must use the Real ID Battle.net feature

Unannounced sci-fi action game Aliens: Infestation is a side-scrolling platformer for the DS, a new ESRB rating has revealed.

Players control a marine squad on a mission to destroy Ridley Scott's pesky alien plague. According to the new ratings board entry (spotted by Siliconera gamers get an arsenal of pistols, flamethrowers and explosives to accomplish the job.
