Rune Factory 4 has been announced for release in Japan on Nintendo 3DS this year.

The next game in the Harvest Moon RPG spin-off series was revealed by the latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu.

Nerland Co. Ltd is once again at the helm. A greater emphasis on the relationship mechanics is promised, as well as the addition of events for couples.

The male and female leads are called Les and Frey.

A 16-player multiplayer demo of PlayStation 3 exclusive race MotorStorm: Apocalypse launches with the EU PlayStation Store update today.

It is available to everyone for one week only – online play expires on 7th July.

Each of the six Star Wars: The Old Republic classes pack 200 hours of gameplay, EA has revealed - excluding crafting, raiding and "the multiplayer".

EA Games boss Frank Gibeau described the in-development MMO as "gigantic", although he wishes the game hadn't cost quite so much money to make.
