The cover for issue 108 of Xbox World, rushing its way to shop shelves now - as teased over here, contains what will be the first real details on Mass Effect 3's much-debated multiplayer mode. One cover line teases: "Mass Effect 3: New levels - and multiplayer!"

Lawyers acting for Elder Scrolls and Fallout publisher Bethesda have sent a legal letter to Minecraft creator Markus Persson for allegedly breaching copyright.
According to Persson, the issue is over the name 'Scrolls', currently the title of the fantasy card game in development by his company, Mojang.
"Just got a letter from Bethesta's [sic] lawyers," wrote Notch onTwitter. "They claim 'Scrolls' infringes on their trademark and everyone will confuse it with Skyrim."

Gears of War developer Epic is in development on a "new unannounced IP", according to a recent job listing.
As spotted by French site Xboxygen, a recruitment call on its website states, "Epic Games is looking for Gameplay Programmers to join the team currently working on Gears of War 3, as well as a new unannounced IP in development."
The studio currently has no announced projects past Gears of War 3, which is due to ship for Xbox 360 on 20th September.
