Heroes of Neverwinter has chewed 4th Edition Dungeons & Dragons into more easily swallowed Facebook chunks. It looks like fellow Facebook game Dragon Age: Legends; cartoony and clean.
Battles are turn-based and tactical, and you can import your friends' heroes for use, earning them experience and loot in return. There's no word on what the level cap is.
You can meet other players in town hubs where you buy equipment and items or send gifts or trade. You can even watch friends battle in a Spectator Mode.
Heroes of Neverwinter allows progress to be saved. Scores are given for dungeons and recorded on leaderboards. Average low-level dungeon time is around 10 to 15 minutes.
Last but not least, you can build and share your own D&D adventures using a Dungeon Creator.
Heroes of Neverwinter has been made by Californian studio Liquid Entertainment - the developer responsible for Rise of the Argonauts. That RPG turned out badly, but this license fits Facebook like a glove. Fingers crossed.
