EA has offered refunds to buyers of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters on PC who complained about its lacking quality and content compared to the console version.
A stripped-down single-player offering, poor visuals and a paid-only multiplayer mode done via the premium Tiger Woods Online PC service has lead to gamers complaining that giving the PC game the same title as the more robust console versions was misleading on EA's part, reports Eurogamer.
Despite the deletion of numerous complaints on the forum, some posters say EA has been handing out refunds to those who contact EA Support via its Livechat feature.
Worth a punt if you're stuck with a $40 game you're not happy with.
