Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI are on their way to the PlayStation Store, and if you love classic RPGs they don't come better than those two.
Released in the mid-90s on Super Nintendo, these 16-bit Japanese adventures are still among Square Enix's most highly regarded work to date.
Both games have been confirmed for release on the US PlayStation Store this week as PSone Classics (via the re-released PSone versions launched in 1999). As usual with PSone games, they will be playable on both PS3 and PSP.
Elsewhere, it is reported that Square has confirmed Chrono Trigger for iOS devices. No release date is mentioned, but an awesome Japanese teaser site is live.
