Glutton for punishment? If you actually LIKE playing hard-as-nails Mega Man games with touch screen controls, you'll be pleased to know another one in the classic series is on it's way to iPhone.
Mega Man X - the brilliant Super NES game - has been confirmed for release on iOS this month in Japan.Based on the 'feature phone' version rather than the Super NES original, the iOS version will feature Game Center support and a new 80-level challenge mode which will apparently hove you "showing off your (touch screen) Mega Man skills to the rest of the world", which we assume means the inclusion of leaderboards.
The included screen (via Famitsu) looks like an iPad shot.
Capcom admitted this week that it will take some time for it to 'rebuild bridges' with Mega Man fans let down by this year's major Mega Man cancellations.
