Cloud gaming service OnLive has unveiled new social features to help it compete with well established online gaming platforms such as Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. All games sessions will now be automatically recorded, allowing users to select and edit clips to share with friends. Sharing can also be done via the player's contact list from Google's email service, Gmail. That contact list can also be used to automatically search for OnLive users which the player knows, further expanding the service's social networking capabilities. New achievements and games are also part of the update, as well as personal stat tracking for all titles. OnLive has been available in the US since July, 2010. No launch date has yet been confirmed for the UK or Europe.
