Ubisoft has today released the first content expansion download for Ghost Recon Online, titled 'Arctic Pack'.
The new update brings a new Conquest mode map, Tomsk-9, as well as six new weapon variants, three new headgear variants and 2 new body armor variants.On the new map, Ubi says: "Set in a nuclear reprocessing complex deep within Russia's Arctic circle, Tomsk-9 is Ghost Recon Online's largest map. Featuring both indoor and outdoor environments as well as a symmetrical map design, Tomsk-9 will offer players a balanced competitive game play flow."
According to the developer, the game's community "played a major role in shaping the development of this update", which also identifies and makes "over 300 balance changes, improvements, and bug fixes". So if you're one of them, give yourself a pat on the back.
Ghost Recon Online is a free-to-play FPS for PC. It was also announced for a Wii U launch, but that's looking increasingly unlikely ever to see the light of day.
