Microsoft has teamed up with The Karaoke Channel to create a new Xbox Liveapp titled Karaoke. Set for release "in time for the holidays", the service will let you stream songs from an 8,000 strong library for an hourly fee. It will offer a selection of free rotating sample songs, with full access to the music library available for blocks of two, six or 24 hours purchasable using Microsoft Points. The app will allow users to queue songs, support Achievements, and feature SmartGlass integration.
