Activision has teamed up with Steam to let all-comers try out Call of Duty: Black Ops multiplayer free of charge this weekend.

Starting from 6.00pm (UK time) this evening, you'll be able to access all of the game's multiplayer modes by pre-loading the game from Steam.

Can't say fairer than that. Take a look at the multiplayer trailer below for more on what to expect.
