Many gamers have been unable to claim the free gift through Nintendo's website, stock of which was being distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

Citing "strong demand and technical issues", Nintendo has now extended the offer, promising the CD to all who register Ocarina of Time 3D by midnight tonight, Pacific Time.

But European Zelda fans may have missed their chance. Nintendo's European website previously stated that to be in with a "chance" of getting the soundtrack, members would have to register the game online "by the 30th of June 2011".

Users hoping to redeem their soundtracks now report the following error message: "An error occurred when your data were being validated", meaning Nintendo of Europe is now out of stock.

A report by N-Europe claims Europe's supply was limited to 1000-2000 soundtrack copies - these have now all been claimed.

The CD features 50 tracks from the game, many never before released. There's also a fully orchestrated Zelda medley recorded especially for the soundtrack.
