And 56 per cent of downloaders are women.
Discount site www.MyVoucherCodes.co.uk said 34 per cent of Brits have downloaded at least one app to help improve their sex lives, with 31 per cent even paying premium to get their hands on some bedroom guidance.
24 per cent of them said they use the apps occasionally, 39 per cent use them often, but 22 per cent said they were too embarrassed to use them at all.
Women are the kinkiest demographic with 56 per cent downloading sex apps, ahead of 44 per cent of men.
Mark Pearson, chairman of MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, said: "It wasn’t all that surprising to find out how many people use apps for advice on their sex lives, as it’s a lot more discreet than having to go out and buy a book on the topic!"
The relationship between sex and tech has seen a huge surge recently thanks to Fifty Shades Of Grey, a sadomasochistic novel that became the first e-book to reach 1m downloads.
