Amazon have today (October 25th) released the Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD In UK and Europe. The orginal Kindle Fire was released in the USA just over a year ago and was amazingly successful. Powered by the Android OS it was second place in sales to the mighty Apple iPad.

The new Kindle Fire and the iPad like Kindle Fire HD are Amazons attempt to take the battle to the iPad on worldwide scale and also to ensure they take the Android tablet crown away from the Samsung Galaxy and Google Nexus.
