The retailer has also reportedly begun informing pre-order customers via email when they can expect to receive the game based on "a new release date" supposedly supplied by Sony.

We sought an update on the DriveClub release date from Sony this morning but the publisher opted not to comment on the Amazon information.
In development at Sony-owned MotorStorm creator Evolution Studios, DriveClub was originally planned as a PS4 launch title, but in October 2013 the racer was delayed to a vague "early 2014".
Sony Worldwide Studios America software product development boss Scott Rohde said in early March that the game had needed to "go back to the drawing board".
"It all comes back to that fundamental principle, and that's that we want to build great games. And we really don't want to release a game before it's ready," he explained.
"Sometimes, this happens in the normal course of business, where we think we're on track to deliver what we think is going to be a great game, and when we get closer, we realize that we'd be doing everyone a disservice if we shipped it before it was ready.
"So, I think that at PlayStation, perhaps more than at other places, we're willing to kind of eat that [cost] and go back to the drawing board and make sure the game is great before we ship it. And that's what's going on right now with that game."
