Aleph One is an Opensource version of the Marathon engine made by Bungie, prior to their purchase by Microsoft. The Marathon games are some of the best loved on the Apple Mac and are the spiritual predecessors of Halo.
Well, here it is version 1.0 of my Aleph One port. Is it perfect? No, there are still a few bugs in there.
So why release it? Basically, I just don't have the time that this game deserves, to that end i'm releasing the
(exceptionally untidy) source-code at the same time. I hope that someone else carries on the work.
Changes
=======
GP2X specific menus, main and in-game (ugly - but functional)
Saving/Loading
3 default configs (Standard, Reversed and Quake2X), plus custom definable.
Terminal screens are now readable (still slightly buggy, it cuts off some text and badly wraps some)
